Roots rock with Patina at McMenamins White Eagle Saloon, 8:30 PM. 21 and over.

26 Tuesday
Alternative, americana stuff PDX bands The Goodwill River, The Mermaid Problem, and Dust Bunny Nation at the Ash Street Saloon, 9:15 PM. 21 and over.

Northwest Fresh hip hop fusion with Marv Ellis and his live band The Platform along with guest rappers, DJs, live painting, and more at McMenamins White Eagle Saloon, 9 PM. 21 and over.

27 Wednesday
Electro-rock at Carpet Culture with Wampire, Tunnels, and Golden Retriever Moody at Holocene plus the premiere episode of Into the Woods (featuring Wampire) where Portland bands march out to a cabin in the wilderness of Mt. Hood to perform an intimate concert, 8:30 PM. 21 and over.


Portland's folk queen Little Sue at Biddy McGraw's, 6 PM. 21 and over.

Tony Ozier's Dookie Jam with funk-rock-soul-jazz-blues-impromptu at Someday Lounge, 9 PM. 21 and over.

28 Thursday
Folk from Future Historians and jazzy lounge with Egg Plant at Kelly's Olympian, 8 PM. 21 and over.

Plucking banjos, mandolins, stand up bass, and violin strings are the bluegrassy boys from Head for the Hills on McMenamins' Great Northwest Music Tour at Kennedy School at 7 PM. All ages.

29 Friday
Fiddle 'n steel country with Flash Flood & The Dikes at Slabtown, 6 PM. 21 and over.

Folk tinging with Celtic influence from Sky in the Road at McMenamins Edgefield, 7 PM. 21 and over.

30 Saturday
HaléLupé and her acoustic guitar at McMenamins Edgefield, 7 PM. 21 and over.

Or acoustic americana with Tyler Stenson at McMenamins Grand Lodge, 7 PM. All ages.

31 Sunday
PDX Unplugged 2010 is an acoustic folk showcase at the Hawthorne Theatre and holy crap there's too many artists to even think about listing here. Over 30 acts, happening in the lounge and main stage. Check it out!!! Starts at 3:45 PM, 21 and over.

Crystal Ballroom 96th Birthday Free-For-All starts at 1 PM and is spreads down Burnside with the Ballroom all ages and Lola's Room and Ringlers Annex 21 and over. Performances from Langhorne Slim, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band, Celilo, The Maldives, Head for the Hills, '80s Video Dance Attack, and a ton more.
